Maryville, IL is a village that is located in Madison County. As of 2020 the population census is around 8,221. Maryville is approximately 21 miles outside of the city of St. Louis, MO and is considered to be a part of the Metro-East area. It is also the site of the popular ice cream joint Bobby’s Frozen Custard. This village is known for its historical coal mining industry which was very popular in its early history. Maryville has exceptional access to major Illinois roadways including three interstates and three highways that are located near the village. This village is surrounded by interstates on all sides including Interstate 270 to the north, Interstate 255 to the west, and Interstate 55 to the south and east. Interstates 55 and 270 intersect with interstate 70 just northeast of Maryville, which means that residents of the village can travel in any direction within just a short drive.
